‘Killing Veerappan’ starring Dr Shivarajakumar by GR Pictures in Kannada and Hindi (later dubbed to Telugu and Tamil) in eminent director Ram Gopal Varma official media address was held on Saturday night at Taj West End situated on Race Course Road in Bengaluru.

RGV makes debut as director after the formal address speaking to print media stated that:

·        We are not focusing on Dr Rajakumar kidnap, the Muthulakshmi factor is not a big question here and what only the police department identified and that is not put before the public is my concern.

·        I am concentrating on the time frame of one and half years before fugitive Veerappan put down by the police.

·        For this downfall of Veerappan there is one man responsible. He has not surfaced before the public. My interest is on this personality statements made.

·        When I narrated the tale of this ‘Killing Veerappan’ Dr Shivarajakumar and Smt Geetha did not know 90 percent of the information. They were shocked.

·        We are shooting in Yellapur forest of northern Karnataka. We did not get permission in real locations of Veerappan because of Wild Life Act.

·        It is fifty days one schedule. There is no song. The background music released today for media meet was scored by Sai Karthik.

·        On July 12, birthday of Dr Shivarajakumar a formal trailer of the film will be released in Bengaluru.

·        This is a high scale budgeted movie. You should ask producer how much they are ready to spend.

·        What about the safety of the person who revealed things for you? That is what I am also worried after the release of the film.
